Richard Strevens, Consultant

With over 21 years local authority accounting experience Richard's career in VAT began at East Hertfordshire District Council before he took up a dedicated VAT Manager role at London Borough of Barnet in 1998.

He has acted as chair of the North London Boroughs VAT Group and has represented London authorities on the National Local Authority VAT Consultative Group.

Richard joined LAVAT in March 2009 from a Senior VAT Manager role with the tax specialist firm, Chiltern, where he advised a wide range of Local Authorities.
